I discovered a really interesting blog today. johnaugust.com is a screenwriting blog by none other than John August. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, here are some of the movies he’s adapted for the big screen: Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Corpse Bride. He must be close friends with Tim Burton.

August’s latest movie The Nines, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hope Davis is coming to theaters later this month. August has written a very detailed article on the post-production process involved in making The Nines. It’s a great read with lots of juicy technical info.
